About the Journal

“YAQUT: Journal of Quran and Islamic Sciences” is a peer-reviewed academic journal managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, dedicated to publishing original scholarly works including research articles, analytical studies, conceptual papers, and academic discussions related to the Quran and the broader development of Islamic studies. The journal provides an academic platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and scientific contributions in various fields of Islamic scholarship. The scope of the journal covers Quranic studies and Ulum al-Qur’an, Tafsir studies, Hadith and Hadith sciences, Fiqh and Islamic law, Arabic language studies (Nahwu, Sharaf, and Balaghah), Islamic history, Islamic thought and intellectual studies, ethics and adab in Islam, Islamic education and learning, as well as contemporary issues and interdisciplinary approaches in Islamic studies.

This journal employs a double-blind peer review system, in wich the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Therefore, every article is evaluated through an objective, independent, and neutral academic review proccess to ensure that published articles meet high standards of scholarly research and scientific publication. This journal is published and managed by the Ikatan Alumni Yaman-Indonesia (Yemen–Indonesia Alumni Association) and is issued on a quarterly basis, publishing four issues annually in the following periods: January–March, April–June, July–September, and October–December.

 

Tentang Jurnal

“YAQUT: Journal of Quran and Islamic Sciences” adalah jurnal ilmiah peer reviewed berbasis OJS (Open Journal System) yang berisi karya artikel publikasi tentang gagasan, hasil penelitian, analisis, dan kajian konseptual dalam bidang Al-Qur’an serta perkembangan dunia keilmuan dan studi Islam secara umum. Bidang kajian jurnal meliputi: tafsir dan ulumul Quran, hadits dan ilmu hadits, fikih dan hukum Islam, bahasa arab (nahwu, sharaf, balaghah), sejarah Islam, studi tokoh dan pemikiran Islam, akhlak dan adab, pembelajaran dan pendidikan agama Islam, serta kajian Islam komtemporer.

Jurnal ini menerapkan sistem double-blind peer review, yaitu identitas antara pihak penulis dan reviewer dirahasiakan selama proses penilaian. Sehingga setiap artikel akan melewati proses evaluasi akademik yang objektif, independen, dan netral untuk memastikan bahwa naskah yang diterbitkan memenuhi standar kualitas publikasi ilmiah. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dan dikelola oleh Ikatan Alumni Yaman-Indonesia, yang memuat 4 edisi pada setiap volume, atau terbit 4 kali dalam satu tahun: (Januari-Maret, April-Juni, Juli-September, Oktober-Desember).
